This editorial channels the haunting essence of Midwestern Gothic, drawing on Edgar Allan Poe’s themes of loneliness, loss, and supernatural tension. Muted tones, lace details, and subtle grunge elements capture the eerie beauty of isolation and a restless longing for freedom—reflecting the quiet solitude and unease of rural life.
